The family-run 3-star superior Hotel Edelweiss in car-free Mürren enjoys a scenic location on the edge of the Mürrenfluh rock face, offering panoramic views of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains and over the Lauterbrunnen valley. Various shops as well as the Mürren Train Station are just a 3-minute walk away. Free WiFi is available in all areas. Opened in 1927 as the first flat-roofed building in the Swiss Alps, the Edelweiss hotel's rooms come with a TV and a private bathroom. Mürren is a car-free village and can only be reached by train or cable car from Lauterbrunnen or via Stechelberg with the Schilthorn Cable Car.
