Kangaroo Island Wilderness Retreat is located next to the entrance of the Flinders Chase National Park. It offers environmentally-friendly accommodation in a natural beauty setting. Free WiFi is available in the reception area and onsite restaurant. Set on 113 acres of native bush, Kangaroo Island Wilderness Retreat works in harmony with its surroundings. Eco-friendly features include recycled rain water tanks. Accommodation options include modern rooms, self-contained apartments and suites. All are well-furnished and offer a private en suite bathroom. Kangaroo Island Retreat features and onsite restaurant with bar service.

Please note that there is no public transport in the area. It is suggested you bring or hire a car. Please note that the reception opening hours are from 07:00-19:00. For guests arriving after reception closes, you can check-in at the restaurant which is open until 22:00. There is also a phone located outside reception for guests to call the manager if they arrive after the restaurant closes. Due to the very heavy population of kangaroos it is not advisable to drive after sunset. You can request your preferred bedding configuration in the Special Requests Box at the time of booking. Please note that the bedding configuration is not guaranteed and will be confirmed upon arrival, subject to availability. Please note that children's cots are not provided. Guests are advised to bring their own.
