Set just a 10-minute drive from the centre of Ragusa, Mastro Vanni is a restored 19th-century estate. It offers a garden with outdoor pool and sun terrace. Parking is free. The self-catering apartments at the family-run Mastro Vanni retain features of this traditional farm, including stonework walls and tiled floors. All units are air-conditioned and come with free Wi-Fi, an LCD TV, and a private patio. Breakfast is served on the terrace in the summer, and includes fresh seasonal fruit. A range of shops and restaurants are located in nearby Ragusa. Well placed for visiting the south of Sicily, the property is in the Fortunello area, just off the SP106 road. It is 12 km from Modica and a 70-minute drive from the Vendicari Nature Reserve.
