Set in a large Victorian house beside the River Exe, this Exford Hostel is in the heart of Exmoor National Park. The lively hostel features a traditional restaurant, leafy gardens and free parking. The Exford Hostel has a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and barbecue facilities for self-catering guests. A range of hearty meals, light snacks and beverages is available in the restaurant. Exford Hostel offers bright and airy private and dormitory bedrooms, and there is also a cosy guest lounge. The majority of rooms contain bunk beds. Full laundry facilities are available, and there is a drying room for walking equipment. Surrounded by scenic Somerset countryside, Exford Hostel is just 6 miles from Dunkery Beacon. The coast at Minehead can be reached in 20 minutes’ drive, and there are plenty of walking routes nearby.

All guests must show a valid photo ID upon check-in. Driver’s license, passport, student ID or similarly recognised national identity cards are accepted. Please note that towels are not included in the room rate. Guests can hire them at the property or bring their own. Group bookings: All bookings for 17 people or more cannot be accepted by YHA. Please note this property does not charge an additional temporary membership fee. Discounts are not available for members of YHA (England and Wales) or IYHF as part of this booking.
