Located in tranquil gardens, this family-run country house is a 1-minute walk from the town centre. The property boasts a car park and free WiFi. Dogs can be accommodated on request (see Important Information for details). Built nearly 200 years ago, Fairfield is one of Lakeland's original country houses. It is now a contemporary B&B, and has an AA Four Star Gold rating with Good Breakfast accolade. Guests are offered a high standard of personal service with genuine hospitality in a homely atmosphere. The half acre of secluded, peaceful garden boasts the beautiful scent and colour of wysteria, azealia and camellia in early summer.

Please be aware that a minimum of GBP 50 will be charged if guests smoke or cause damage to the room. Dogs can be accommodated at an additional charge, but are also subject to availability of dog accommodating rooms and must be requested in advance. This can be done using the Special Requests box when booking, or by using the contact details found on the booking confirmation. Guests wanting to check-in after 21:00 are requested to contact the hotel in advance.
