YHA Blaxhall is situated on the edge of Suffolk Sandlings, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and home to Britain’s rarest wildlife. Free private parking is on offer, as well as a garden with BBQ facilities, and a self-catering kitchen. The National Cycle Route 1 passes close to the hostel and uses quiet lanes. Easy walking routes can be recommended by the hostel. Watersports can be enjoyed on the River Blyth estuary which is a 25-minute drive. Ipswich and the coastal town of Adleburgh are both within a 30-minute drive, as well as the Anglo Saxon heritage site of Sutton Hoo.

All guests must show a valid photo ID upon check-in. Driver’s license, passport, student ID or similarly recognised national identity cards are accepted. Group bookings: All bookings for 17 people or more cannot be accepted by YHA. Please note that towels are not included in the room rate. Guests can hire them at the property or bring their own. The majority of rooms contain bunk beds. Please note this property does not charge an additional temporary membership fee. Discounts are not available for members of YHA (England and Wales) or IYHF as part of this booking.
