Informace o Guest House Tomaru

Just a 2-minute walk from JR Takayama Train Station, the completely non-smoking Guest House Tomaru provides free WiFi throughout and has a free-use kitchenette. It offers private and dormitory-style rooms with shared showers. Guests at Hida-Takayama Guest House Tomaru can experience Japanese-style futon bedding on a tatami (woven-straw) floor in the private rooms. Dormitory rooms have futon bedding as well; bottom bunks sit directly on the tatami flooring, and top bunks use a wooden bunk bed frame. Guests can reach the bus terminal for Shirakawago with a 2-minute walk. The guest house is a 8-minute walk to the Old Town and Miyagawa Morning Market, and a 10-minute walk to the Takayama Jinya historical government outpost and Jinya Morning Market. Higashiyama Temple is a 15-minute walk. A Family Mart convenience store is just a 1-minute walk away. Free coffee & tea are provided at the kitchen, which is equipped with a microwave, a rice cooker, a hot plate, a toaster, a fridge and some kitchenware. Safe deposit is available at the reception. No meals are served.

This hostel has only showers. Guests wishing to use a bathtub must go to one of the public baths or hot springs near the hostel. There are 2 Western-style toilets, one on each floor. Lights are turned off at 23:00. There is no curfew, but the entrance is locked from 23:00-08:00. Guests can come and go freely using a PIN code. Guests receive sheets and pillowcases from the reception at check-in and are expected to fit them on their own. Upon check-out, guests should remove the linens and place them in the indicated basket.
