Nestled in the Gloucestershire countryside, the Vale of Berkeley is a charming guesthouse less than 2 miles from the villages of Woodfield and Cam. Founded in the 11th century, Berkeley Castle is a 5-minute drive and offers fascinating tours such as the King’s Gallery and The Great Hall and Armoury. The Slimbridge Wildfowl Trust is less than 10 minutes’ drive from the property. The bright rooms feature free WiFi, an en suite bathroom, and tea/coffee making facilities. Most rooms have view of the surrounding landscaped gardens. Guests can relax in the conservatory with its lovely views, or sitting outside by the brook. Breakfast is served daily and it includes a hearty Full English breakfast made of locally sourced ingredients where possible. A dinner menu featuring classic British cuisine is available from Monday to Thursday. A restaurant, serving a varied menu, is opposite the guesthouse. Situated 2 miles from the shores of the River Severn and with free parking, the Vale of Berkeley also offers easy access to the pretty tree collection of Westonbirt Arboretum, 12 miles away. The picturesque Cotswold Way trail that runs between the market town of Chipping Campden and Bath starts 45 miles from the guesthouse. Celebrating scientific achievements, Dr. Jenner Museum is only 5 minutes’ drive from the property.

Breakfast is served daily, 07:00 to 09:00 Monday to Friday and 08:30 to 10:00 Saturday and Sunday. Check-in is strictly between 15:00 and 20:00. There will be no admittance outside of these hours.
