Set in a panoramic hillside area, Relais La Leopoldina is an 18th-century farm house with brick walls. Renovated in 2008, it offers elegant rooms with free Wi-Fi, an outdoor salt-water pool, and an à la carte restaurant. Overlooking the country side, rooms at La Leopoldina Relais are spacious and air conditioned. Each features handmade furniture and an LCD satellite TV, and some have exposed wooden beams. The private bathroom comes with a hydromassage shower. Breakfast is a sweet and savoury buffet including homemade cakes, cold cuts and cheeses. It is served in the dining hall, and can be enjoyed on the verandah in summer. The restaurant is set in an ancient renovated stable with arched ceilings, and offers Tuscan cuisine for lunch and dinner. Pienza and Montepulciano are a 30-minute drive from the B&B, as is Cortona, and the nearest A1 motorway exit is 2km away.
