Whitemoor House offers award-winning bed and breakfast accommodation in Lyndhurst, the largest village in New Forest National Park. Deer, ponies and donkeys wander freely around the surrounding moorland. A freshly cooked full English breakfast with vegetarian option is offered, or alternatives such as scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and omelettes. Guests can also enjoy Whitemoor’s homemade preserves and a selection of fruit, cereals and yoghurt. Rooms at the guest house all have a flat-screen TV and tea and coffee-making facilities. It leads out onto a patio area and into Whitemoor’s peaceful garden. The area around Whitemoor House has many local attractions, footpaths and cycle tracks and is steeped in literary history. Alice Hargreave, the inspiration for Alice in Wonderland, was buried at St Michael's Church in Lyndhurst. It is 3 miles to Minstead, where guests can visit the grave of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Whitemoor House is a 7-minute walk to the village centre with a wide selection of pubs, restaurants and tea shops.
