This guest house is 20 km from Vík and 1.5 km off the Route 1 Ring Road. Wi-Fi and parking are free. All rooms have a view of Pétursey Mountain and the Atlantic Ocean. Guesthouse Vellir’s allergy-free rooms include a wash basin. Bathroom facilities are either private or shared. A breakfast buffet is served each morning, while an evening restaurant offers a 3-course dinner menu. Guests can enjoy a drink in the small bar and sit on the furnished terrace. Staff arranges horse riding, as well as snowmobile and hiking tours around Sólheimajökull and Mýrdalsjökull Glaciers. Vellir Guesthouse is a 15-minute drive from Reynisdrangar sea stacks and the black beaches of Reynisfjara.

If you expect to arrive outside reception opening hours, please inform Guesthouse Vellir in advance. The restaurant serves dinner from 19:00 until 21:00. Those wishing to eat must book in advance.
