This refurbished early 1900s farmhouse is within 30 minutes’ drive of Frederikshavn and Aalborg. In summer, Ellekær-Gård’s furnished terrace is a nice place to relax in the sun. Toilets, showers and laundry facilities are shared with the owner. Guests are welcome to pet the farm’s ponies and cats. Bicycles and Nordic walking poles can be borrowed on site and there are good opportunities for nature walks and trekking in the area. Lunches and dinners can be ordered, on request. The nearest supermarket is in Flauenskjold, 4 km away. Shops and restaurants are found in Dronninglund, 10 km from Ellekær-Gård. The 14th-century Voergård Castle is 2 km from the farmhouse, while the sandy Sæby Beach is about 20 minutes drive away. Bird watching in the natural surroundings is a common area activity.
