Informace o Matava Resort

Matava Resort offers eco-friendly accommodation providing privacy, comfort and ocean views out over the Great Astrolabe Barrier Reef. Breakfast and return boat transfers from Kadavu Island Airport are included. Built in the traditional thatched Fijian style, the bungalows at Matava are nestled in the rainforest with solid mahogany timber floors. The louvre windows and private deck offer stunning ocean views. Guest facilities include a bar, library and hand-wash laundry facilities. The resort also has a dive centre, providing access to the colourful corals and wonderful marine life of The Great Astrolabe Reef. Matava is located on the island of Kadavu, one of Fiji’s few remaining undeveloped islands. It is Fiji’s fourth largest island, situated 100 km south of the main island, Viti Levu.

Please note that this property does not have air conditioning, however the rooms have ceiling fans and power sockets for charging personal devices. Please note that lighting is provided by solar power. The system is 12-volt and normal household appliances cannot be used in the rooms. A lantern is provided for each room and should be used for the duration of the stay. Please note that Matava offers a meal plan rather than an a la carte menu. This is an additional FJD 85 per person, per day. Matava Resort is on the Island of Kadavu which requires a domestic flight from Nadi International Airport. Guests are kindly requested to inform the hotel in advance of their flight details in order for an airport transfer to be arranged. This can be noted in the Comments Box during booking or by contacting the hotel using the contact details found on the booking confirmation. Guests wishing to enjoy diving or sportfishing activities must book before arrival to ensure availability.
