A 5-minute walk from Kintetsu-Nara Train Station, Tsubakiso is an 80-years old Japanese townhouse with a lovely garden and free Wi-Fi throughout. Guests sleep in futon bedding on a tatami (woven-straw) floor. Parking is free and free mineral water is provided. All rooms are air-conditioned and include a low table with floor cushions, an LCD TV and an electric kettle with green tea. Each room has an en suite bathroom. The sliding paper screens open onto a small patio or garden views in some rooms. Kofuku-ji Temple is a 10-minute walk from the inn, and Kasuga Shrine and Todai-ji Temple are about 2 km away. JR Nara Train Station is 850 metres away. The inn is located on a quiet street in a residential neighbourhood. Guests can enjoy the peace of the garden and take in the traditional Japanese architecture. Free laundry services are available. Japanese and Western set breakfasts can be ordered for an additional fee, and must be reserved at time of booking. A vegetarian breakfast can be arranged upon request.
