Over 100 years old, the family-run Schweizerhof is 300 metres away from Andermatt Train Station. It features a rustic-style restaurant serving barbecue specialities, Italian cuisine and Swiss fondue dishes. Free Wi-Fi is available. The rooms come with cable TV and a private bathroom. There are 6 ski areas in the surroundings, including Gemsstock, Nätschen, Realp, Dieni, Sedrun and Disentis. The ski bus stop is only 50 metres away from the hotel. In the summertime guests can go hiking, climbing, paragliding, golfing or go fishing. It is also possible to go hiking in the winter and take the sledge back down to Hotel Schweizerhof. Andermatt is a 90-minute drive away from Zurich or Lugano. It can be reached within 10 minutes' drive from the Göschenen exit of the A2 motorway.
